Communication Summit is the leading platform in Bangladesh, which brings experts and specialists in the field of creative communication, both local and global, under one roof. Commenced in 2009, the summit has been playing a vital role in Bangladeshi creative communication and advertising industry. This year, the summit comprised of 3 keynote sessions, 2 panel discussions, 2 workshops, and 2 agencies’ case studies presentations.

Known as Pops, he is the founder of HyperCollective, his self-funded entrepreneurial venture. His previous stints include SapientNitro, where he joined in 2014 and moved on late last year, prior to which he worked at Leo Burnett, Lowe Lintas and JWT. He was recently named in the prestigious list of Hall of Fame of Asian advertising, media and marketing leaders of past 40 years by Campaign Asia. He has won 22 Cannes lions and over 100 international awards.

Vikas Mehta, Ex-CEO, Lowe, Dubai
Having worked in the Communication Industry for more than 29 years in various countries, Vikas has gotten global and regional experience on multinational and local brands like Pepsodent, Sony, Horlicks, HSBC and many more. He has worked with Lowe, JWT, and Havas; handled country level and regional level roles in terms of strategic thinking and bottom line responsibilities.

Bangladesh, despite experiencing exponential growth in its creative industry over the past decade, significantly lacks platforms which encourage discussions and exchange of ideas regarding the communication industry of the country. To address that need, Bangladesh Brand Forum, for a number of years now has been organizing the Communication Summit in association with Cannes Lions.
The Summit is designed to be a dominant dais for peer-to- peer learning and knowledge sharing, bringing together leading communicators and marketing professionals from companies, agencies, associations, NGOs and institutions to network and discuss ideas on the most cutting-edge tools and strategies in the field. The aim of the summit is to establish a culture of ideas which will only help the industry flourish and stay aligned with global trends. The Communication Summit will be followed by the Commward Gala Night, to celebrate the best creative minds of the country and their contributions to the communication industry.
