BBF Seminar 2015: Rethinking Marketing

2015 is a critical year for Bangladesh. On the one hand, the year, unfortunately, started with major political conflict which is still affecting businesses and their projected growth. On the other hand, philosophy of Marketing is being reinvented – due to the influence of digital and increased engagement of consumer and people.

The exponential growth of online activities – from adopting a smartphone to opening a social media page to buying and selling online – Bangladesh is seeing a growth of consumer activities like never before. While online analytics has given more opportunity to marketers to monitor and target their potential buyers more specifically, consumers, on the other hand, have more opportunity to review, switch and drive the brand marketers according to their whims on a more competitive platform.

During such a challenging yet opportune time the focus for every business is delivering sustainable growth. And that growth is only feasible when the businesses and brands are designed around people, when marketing is outside-in.

BBF seminar will explore these challenges and opportunities during the one daylong Seminar. Keeping that context in 2015 at the BBF Seminar, the theme is – Reinventing Marketing.

Inception of BBF Seminars

Brand Forum Seminar is one of the most important events for BBF. The Seminar is designed to share the best practices and thinking from around the world with local business leaders and marketing fraternity. Till 2014, we have so far organized 4 BBF Seminars (2007, 2008, 2009, 2013) BBF has shared the inspiration of 20+ Global experts before our corporate fraternity.

It has always been the aim of BBF seminars to bring in the international experts of marketing to conduct exclusive key-notes on topics which benefits the marketing and corporate professionals of Bangladesh. Event Details

The daylong seminar will take place on Saturday, 18th April, 2015, Grand Ball Room, Radisson Blu Water Garden. In addition to the seminar being open to registration, BBF will reward free entries and access to all provisions to 5 entry-level executives from the corporate and to 10 students from the universities. The entries and all complimentary will be given to the winners of two case-study competitions which are being run online.
