Dhaka, Bangladesh, 25th November 2017 – Organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum, the 9th iteration of Best Brand Award, 2017 was held on Saturday, 25th of November 2017 at Le Meridien Dhaka.
This is a platform for recognizing the success of business community of Bangladesh and portraying their achievements in brand building. Bangladesh Brand Forum partnering with Kantar Millward Brown has identified top Bangladeshi brands in 35 categories for the year 2017 with the aim to acknowledge the brands that have established themselves to a meaningful height in terms of business value and contribution to consumer life.
The program was launched with the following agenda of unveiling the most loved brands of Bangladesh based on the nationwide survey conducted by Kantar Millward Brown, and giving away a prominent publication consisting of winning brand stories to all the attendees as the BBF tradition.
This year, out of 103 winners, 35 categories were awarded. Out of the Overall Top 30 Brands, 10 were awarded, and all the Local Top 10 Brands were awarded. In addition, 1 Best Newcomer Brand 2017, 1 Most Improved Brand 2017 and 1 Most Consistent Brand 2017 were awarded.
Out of the Overall Top 30 Brands, Grameenphone, Horlicks, and Rupchanda Fortified Soyabean Oil bagged the first three positions, respectively. And out of the Local Top 10 Brands, Ispahani Mirzapore Tea, Radhuni Masal, and Super Fresh Fortified Soyabean Oil bagged the first three positions, accordingly.
The 9th Best Brand Award was held In Association with The Daily Star; Research Partner Kantar Millward Brown; Airlines Partner Etihad Airways; Event Partner Le Meridien Dhaka; Knowledge Partner Marketing Society of Bangladesh (MSB); IT Partner Aamra Technologies Limited; PR Partner Masthead PR; Social Media Partner Webable; and initiated by Bangladesh Brand Forum.
